Way To Go Junior
Way To Go Jr. is a six-week management program open to members and nonmembers offered by the Center that is designed especially for those 6 to 19 years of age. The program aids in the awareness of good eating habits, exercise, and fitness for life. In this 12 visit program, participants exercise twice a week playing basketball, racquetball, swimming, and lifting weights. They learn the proper lifting form and also learn nutrition. Meal planning is a part of this course as well. Way to Go Jr. will now be offered on both an individual or small group basis.

Summer is a great time to make changes and improvements, that’s why Weigh to Go Jr. is presenting a summer “SUPERSTAR” program. A staff of registered dieticians, exercise physiologists, and nationally certified personal trainers collaborated to create a program to provide all the essential tools for children in today’s society to live a healthy lifestyle. Children participating in the program meet with a personal trainer and registered dietician weekly. Exercise sessions will include various fun exercises and activities with a personal trainer and nutrition sessions will include activities and discussions to educate and help kids make healthy food choices. The summer SUPERSTAR program is for kids aged 7-17 and participants will be broken into age appropriate groups. Call Becka Wilson at 531-5740 for more information.
