At FSHFC, our Fitness Floor is committed to offering you the latest programming to meet your fitness and wellness needs. We realize that everyone is unique and has different health goals. Therefore, finding the right Personal Trainer for you is key in reaching your goals. They help you reach your full potential during your workouts, achieve your fitness goals, or perhaps jump-start your motivation or routine through one-on-one or group sessions.

Personal Trainingfitness with a personal trainer

Our Personal Trainers  offer hour and half hour sessions our staff will be able to help you reach all of your fitness goals. Whether you are new to Fort Sanders Health & Fitness Center or needing guidance and accountability, our Personal Training Consultation is the perfect choice. This allows you the chance to meet with a Personal Trainer and set goals, while creating a program to attain your goals.

Small Group Training

Similar to our Personal Training we offer hour and half hour options for small group training. Sessions at Fort Sanders Health and Fitness Center are led by our nationally certified Personal Trainers and allow participants to maximize their workout sessions in a fun and challenging atmosphere. Another small group training class is our Les Mills GRIT Series. It is a High Intensity Interval Training class located in our basketball gym!

Weight Managementsmall group fitness

Nutrition is 75-80% of the equation to reaching your workout and/or weight goals. Completely changing your diet overnight leads to feeling overwhelmed and eventually abandoning your new eating habits; returning to your old ones. We come up with a plan that is easy to stick to, allowing you to make continual progress. Our Weight Management Program, RENEW consists of both conditioning and strength training. A small group training setting with a 30 minute low impact circuit workout will allow you to RENEW your fitness journey!

Fitness Assessment & Program Design

Each member has the option to complete a complimentary Fitness Assessment and Program Design every 3 months. This allows one of our Exercise Physiologist to conduct a series of performance fitness tests to aid in the design of your program. In addition, a Fitness Instructor will design a personalized workout program for you after your assessment. They will help with showing you how to set the machines and find the right amount of weight.
